Iberia, Hispania Citerior. Castulo. the Oretanos. 2nd-1st century B.C. AE (30? sestertius?) (31.1 mm, 20.49 g, 7 h). Pre-Roman Celtiberian. Diademed, beardless male head right; before, hand / Sphinx standing right, foreleg raised, star before; // [KASTULO] in Iberian characters. Cf. Burgos 540. VF / F, adequately large flan, small casting void reverse; reverse a bit weakly struck; pleasing dark green patina.
