Greek Phiale. A Greek bronze Phiale or offering bowl, ca. 4th - 2nd Century BC, formed from heavy sheet bronze with central omphalos, or navel of the Earth. It is 4-7/8” in diameter and has a fluted design surrounding the central indentation. Strong mineral deposits, small crack.
