Campanian Ceramic Votive Vessels
A group of 5 Campanian ceramic votive vessels, Magnia Graecia, c. 4th Century BC, each a miniature for use as an offering. Vessels include a deep and shallow bowl, a Kyathos, a pyxis and an oil lamp. Largest vessel, the deep bowl, measures 2” (5.1 cm) in diameter. One with a minor chip, but nice examples of this interesting class of pottery which is still constructed on the wheel. Ex Orange County private collection.
