Maya Polychrome Bowl. A fine Maya polychrome glyph bowl from El Salvador, c. 400 – 800 AD. It is 7” in diameter and is decorated with a broad register of jaguar deity heads. The underside has ball game symbols and the interior a swirled orange wash. Intact, with vivid paint, strong mineral deposits and root marks. Ex Freeman estate. Value range $585 - $700..
