Lot 2-361. A Lot of 7 Roman Bone Objects.

A Lot of 7 Roman Bone Objects. A lot of 7 interesting Roman bone objects, Egypt, c. 2nd - 5th Century AD. Lot includes a fish pendant, part of a mirror handle depicting two goats, the end of a clothes pin with a stylized male head, the end of a hair pin with a neatly carved nude woman (Venus?), a complete hair pin, a stylized amphora applique and a handle in the form of a stylized frog, decorated with concentric circles. Largest 3 1/8” (7.9 cm) in length. A neat lot, the amphora with central hole showing much wear from some kind of use. Ex Los Angeles private collection. Value Range: $200-$300.
