Macedonian Kingdom. Alexander III 'the Great'. 336-323 B.C. AR tetradrachm (34.5 mm, 16.59 g, 11 h). Mesembria mint, Struck 125-65 B.C. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion's skin headdress / AΛEΞANΔPOY BAΣIΛEΩΣ, Zeus seated left, holding eagle and scepter; helmet over HP mongram in left field, monogram below throne. Price 1095 var; McLean 3481 var. VF, toned. Price lists this left field monogram with an ANT signature on the obverse (in the lion's jaw). There does not appear to be a signature on this coin.
