Ceylon, Polonnaruwa era. Sahasa Malla. 1200-1202. Æ massa (20.1 mm, 4.28 g, 6 h). Traditional Lankan massa design of standing king, holding hanging lamp and jasmine blossom / Traditional Lankan massa design of seated king, holding conch shell. Mithchener 840-1; Lapa 7A. EF.

Sahasa Malla who displaced Lilavati, belonged to the Kalinga royal family and was a half brother of Nissanka Malla. He succeeded to a troubled state torn by factional strife and ruled for just two years untill he was deposed by general Ayasmanta.
