Chinesco Head. An exceptional Chinesco head from Mexico, ca. 50 - 200 AD. It is 2-1/4â€" high and depicts an individual wearing large ear spools and an unusual headdress ornament. Painted with vivid orange slip and detailed with white pigment. Rare type, strong paint and good mineral deposits. Ex Medlin collection. Mounted on stand.
