Moche Bottle. An excellent Moche I bottle from Peru, ca. 50 BC -€“ 100 AD. This rare Early Moche example is 6" high and is decorated with stylized step-fret designs representing zoomorphic heads. The designs are executed in red over cream slip on the upper half of the lentoid chamber. In excellent condition, with strong paint and mineral deposits. Ex Gallatin estate.
