Silver Viking Axe Pendant. 5th - 8th century A.D. Traditional birka design of concentric circles and hashmarks. Found in England. 20.1 x 15.8 mm, 0.73 gm. Traditionally, these axe-head pendants are associated with the Slavic God Peron, a parallel deity to Thor in that Peron sees all and is the keeper of the human world (Midgard per Norse Mythos).
