Large Egyptian 2nd Intermediate Steatite Scaraboid. A large Egyptian 2nd Intermediate steatite scaraboid, c. 1750 - 1570 BC, the back rounded and plain with notched border and collars around the suspension holes. On base, the god Ra kneeling on the back of a crocodile and holding a sceptre, erect cobras to either side. 30 x 23mm. Minor chipping to one collar. Ex Orange County private collection. Value Range: $300 - $400.
