Lambayeque Shaman Bottle from Peru, ca. 700 - 1300 AD. A rare Lambayeque figural whistle bottle from Peru, ca. 700 - 1300 AD. It is 5-3/4" high and depicts a seated shaman or curandero facing his spirit animal, a bird. He is wearing a mantle, has a shuspa slung over his shoulders and is adorned with a segmented necklace. Good mineral deposits, high pitch tone on the whistle. Ex Caravallo collection. Value range $400 - $600.
