Egyptian Faience Ushabti, Dynasty XXX ca 380 - 343 BC. An ancient Egyptian faience ushabti. The mummiform figure wears a tripartite wig and beard. The hands protrude from the wrappings, holding hoes. A vertical and horizontal Hieroglyphic inscription is on the front. The ushabti stands 3 inches (7.9 cm) high. Ex New York Private Collection. Value range: $300-$400.
