Bactrian Alabaster Jar, ca. 3rd-2nd Millennium BC. A pleasing Bactrian alabaster jar, ca. 3rd - 2nd millennium BC, well hollowed with nice banding and translucent walls. The body is squat with flat base, tapering to a flared mouth. H: 1 ï¾¼" (3.2 cm). Minor restoration to rim and a spot on the base. Ex Los Angeles private collection. Value range: $250-350.
