Egyptian Bronze Feather, Late Period. A nicely detailed Egyptian bronze feather from a headdress, Late Period, c. 664 - 332 BC, probably from the god Osiris, ram's horn and uraeus wearing a solar disk, tabs on the inner edge for mounting into the central portion of the headdress. Extremely well-preserved with crisp incised lines and detail. H: 3 1/8" (7.9 cm). Mounted on a custom base. Ex Nomis Antiquities; Ex Los Angeles private collection. Est Value $300 - $400.
