Papal States. Anonymous issue. 16th century AR carlino (23 mm, 1.97 g, 11 h). Bologna mint. City arms of Bologna / St. Petronius enthroned, holding crozier and city; to left, arms of Innocenzo Cybo. Berman 761. VF. 

Innocenzo Cybo, whose small arms rest at the knee of St. Petronius on the reverse of this coin, was legate in Bologna during both the pontificates of Clement VII (1524-1534) and Paul III (1534-1549), thus narrowing the period when this coin was likely struck.
