Moche figure from Peru, ca. 300 - 500 AD. An excellent Moche figure from Peru, ca. 300 - 500 AD. This standing female is 6” high and is posed with hands holding the belly. Her face is beautifully detailed and retains remnants of pigment in the eyes. The fine orange slip is highly burnished and shows extensive mineral deposits. Rare Type. Ex Caravallo collection. Value range: $400 - $500.
