Purple Roman Glass Bottle. A pale purple Roman glass bottle with spiral threading, Eastern Mediterranean, 1st Century AD, the body round and neck thin and delicate, the mouth lightly flared. Around the body is a trailing of white glass over the light purple body. H: 2 ¾” (7 cm). Intact. Cf. Yale, p. 27, no. 74. Ex Los Angeles private collection. Value Range: $500 - $600.
