A Middle Kingdom wooden figure of a man. A Middle Kingdom wooden figure of a man, c. 1980 - 1630 BC, wearing short wig and kilt, hands by his sides. Intact with traces of pigment, especially on the hair. H: 8 ¼” (20.9 cm). Some pitting and age splits. With detachable antique wooden base. Ex collection of Elennore-de-Mot (1903-1987), archaeologist. Value Range: $800 - $1000.
