A pair of Egyptian New Kingdom scarabs. A pair of Egyptian New Kingdom scarabs, c. 1570 - 1075 BC, the first is a steatite example with well decorated base, 189 x 13mm, the second of faience with symbols of goodness and luck on base. 15 x 10mm. The first with some minor chipping, the second intact with traces of glaze. Ex Los Angeles private collection. Value Range: $300 - $400.
