Roman Oil Lamp of a Bird with Head Looking Back circa 1st Century AD: A wonderful lamp with a fine bird with feathers looking back for the lamp collector. The lamp is has a chip on the handle; measures 80 X 120 mm; and has a great image of a bird. This piece is part of the estate of David Liebert of The Time Machine Company, a knowledgeable and respected member of the Antiquities Dealer community. He was also the author of many articles on artifacts including the many articles in The Celator magazine.
