A pair of black steatite stamp seals, Northern Syria, c. 3rd Millennium BC, both rectangular in shape and show heavy use, the large with a re-drilled handle after the first was broken. On the base are geometric devices in incised lines. 4.6 x 3.6 cm & 3.5 x 3.3 cm. Deposits in the recesses. Ex Los Angeles private collection. Est Value $300 - $400.
