Roman Lead Document Seal, circa 2nd-3rd Century AD. A seal with an emperor Caracalla head, right. The piece measures 14 mm; is intact; and has nice dark gray coloring. This piece is part of the estate of David Liebert of The Time Machine Company, a knowledgeable and respected member of the Antiquities Dealer community. He was also the author of many articles on artifacts including the many articles in The Celator magazine.
