A Pair of nice Egyptian Amulets. Lot includes a yellow faience amulet of Bes, 3rd Intermediate Period, c. 1075 - 664 BC, his bust facing wearing plumed headdress and aegis, (H: 31mm). Suspension hole below headdress, and a nice obsidian double ostrich plume amulet, Late Period, c. 664 - 343 BC, with characteristic rounded top of each feather. ( L: 24mm). A scarcer amulet imbuing the owner with divine dignity majesty. Ex Negus Collection, UK, acquired in the early 20th Century. Est Value $200 - $300.
