Lot includes a trio of Luristan bronze bells, c. 1000 - 800 BC, each with a double horseï¾s head on the top and remains of iron clapper within. Largest 1 ï¾¾ (4.4 cm) in height. Also a group of three Roman bronze fibulae or brooches, c. 2nd Century AD, each intact with original pin. Largest 2 ï¾¼ï¾ (5.7 cm) in length. A Roman bronze key, c. 1st - 4th Century AD, L: 4 5/8ï¾ (11.8 cm) in length. A Roman bronze buckle, c. 1st - 5th Century AD, with original tongue. L: 2 1/8ï¾ (5.4 cm). Last, a Villanovan bronze ornament, c. 8th - 7th Century AD, with spoked design. Dia: 2ï¾ (5 cm). A nice group of mixed pieces! Ex Orange County private collection. Est Value $200 - $300.
