Rare Ica-Chincha Jar from Peru, ca. 1000 - 1500 AD. A fine Ica-Chincha polychrome jar, ca. 1000 - 1500 AD. This rare example is 4-1/4" in diameter and is decorated with intricate wave designs and bands of step pyramids, boldly executed in black and red over cream slip. Intact, good mineral deposits. Ex Gallatin estate. Value range: $208 - $300.
