An Egyptian Middle Kingdom Wood Boat Figure. An Egyptian wooden figure, Middle Kingdom, c. 2061 - 1690 BC, from a model boat, an oarsman, the male figure is seated, wearing a short kilt, his features well-detailed. Some weathering but much of the original pigments preserved beneath earthen deposits. H: 5 ï¾½ï¾ (13.8 cm). A nice example with no repair of restoration. Ex New Jersey estate. Est. Value $200 - $300.
