Moche Stone Dish from Peru, ca. 200 - 600 AD. A rare Moche Sodalite dish from Peru, ca. 200 - 600 AD. It is 3-3/8” in diameter and is beautifully polished. What is extremely unusual is that the blue Sodalite formed over a core of different stone, which can be seen in small sections that were not covered during the formation of the stone. Unique.
