Huastec Bust from Mexico, ca. 200 - 500 AD. A lovely Huastec figure from Mexico, ca. 200 - 500 AD. His fine bust of a female is 6-1/4” high and is mounted on a 1-1/2” wood base. She is adorned with large ear spools, a necklace with curved pendant and appliqué scarification on the shoulders. The slip is highly burnished and shows strong mineral deposits. Ex Cohen estate. Cf.
