Roman Caesar Delmatius Signet Ring Inset. A beautiful silver signet ring inset from the Roman emperor Delmatius, A.D. 330-337. 9.25 mm, 0.42 g. DALMATIVS, pearl-diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust right (retrograde) / blank. Flavius Julius Delmatius (sometimes spelled "Dalmatius") was the nephew of Constantine the Great. This would have been worn by the elite advisors or family of the emperor, or possibly, by the emperor himself. Very Rare in any condition and this example is stunning, museum quality. Ex H.J.
