Inca Aribalo from Peru, ca. 1300 - 1500 AD. A large Inca aribalo from Peru, ca. 1300 - 1500 AD. This elaborately decorated vessel is 10-3/4" high and features intricately painted birds covering the front of the chamber. The rear, handles and neck are decorated with linear designs and the adorno lug is executed as a zoomorphic head. Ex Gallatin estate. Value range: $850 - $1200.
