Ghandaran Oil Lamp, ca. 100 - 300 AD. A beautiful Ghandaran stone oil lamp from the Indus Valley, ca. 100 - 300 AD. This finely crafted heart shape example is 2-5/8" wide and is carved from the blue-gray chlorite characteristic of the region. In excellent condition, with good mineral encrustation and evidence of usage. Ex Cadby-Birch estate. Value range: $175 - $300.
