Antoninus Pius. A.D. 138-161. AR denarius (18 mm, 3.18 g, 6 h). Rome, ca. A.D. 141-143. ANTONINVS AVG PIVS P P, bare-headed bust right, slight drapery on far shoulder / ITALIA in exergue, TR POT COS III around, Italia seated left on globe, holding cornucopiae and scepter. Cf. RIC 98 (bust); cf. BMC 246-50 (same); cf. RSC 466-9 (same). Near VF, unrecorded bust variety for the type.
