Festival of Isis. Mid 4th century A.D. AE (12 mm, 1.39 g, 12 h). DEO SE-[RAPIDI], radiate and draped bust of Sol-Serapis right, wearing modius / [VOTA P]-VBLICA, Isis standing left, head right, on galley, holding sail. Alföldi -; Vagi -. VF, brown patina. Extremely rare. While the obverse and reverse types are described by Vagi, this particular combination of Sol-Serapis with his reverse type Cj is missing from his catalogue. While all the Festival of Isis coinage is rare, Mr. Vagi's is catalogue is very thorough, which suggests that this particular type must be extremely rare and probably otherwise unknown.
