Chimu Figural Vessel from Peru, ca. 1100 – 1450 AD. A fine Chimu double-chambered vessel from Peru, ca. 1100 – 1450 AD. It is 8-3/4" long, 7" high and features a nicely detailed individual seated atop the front chamber. He appears to be eating and scratching his head. The highly burnished slip shows good mineral deposits. Ex Gallatin estate. Value range: $350 - $600.
