Colima Dog from Mexico, ca. 300 BC - 300 AD. A finely executed canine effigy from Colima, West Mexico, ca. 300 BC - 300 AD. This adorable puppy is 3-1/4" long and stands on all fours. The incised back shows the ribs of a malnourished dog, yet the face is alert and happy. Intact, with strong mineral deposits. Ex Rendon collection. Value range: $250 - $400.
