A pair of Syro-Hittite yoked human-headed animals. , c. 2000 - 1500 BC, both neatly modeled with wide eyes and a large nose, one wear a low headdress and the other with a taller headdress decorated with vertical lines. The hind rump of each with incised lines indicating a woolen coat. 2 in x 1 7/8 in (5 x 4.8cm). Well-preserved with light deposits. Ex-Ancient World Arts ltd, New York, 11/1991. Est.
