Diquis Olla from Panama, ca. 1000 - 1500 AD. A fine Diquis pottery olla from northern Panama, ca. 1000 - 1500 AD. This Tarragó Biscuit example is 6" in diameter and is decorated with a group of appliqué adornos surrounding the flared rim. A beautiful example of this elegant form showing good mineral deposits. Cf. Labbe "Pre-Columbian Art of Costa Rica", page 219. Value range: $100 - $250.
