Octavian. 44-27 B.C. AR denarius (21.3 mm, 3.49 g, 11 h). Italian (Rome?) mint. Laureate head of Octavian right / IMP - CAESAR, rostral column ornamented with two anchors (barely visible on this specimen) and six beaks of galleys, surmounted by a statue of Octavian, holding spear and parazonium. RIC 271; RSC 124 (Augustus); CRI 423. Fine, some flatness to strike, oval flan.
