A Nice Egyptian Faience Ushabti. A handsome Egyptian light green faience ushabti, Late Period, c. 664 - 332 BC, on integral base, mummiform, wearing tripartite wig with false beard, arms folded across chest, hands holding a pick and hoe, bag over left shoulder, vertical column of hieroglyphic text down front of legs, vertical plinth down back. H: 4 7/8 (12.4 cm). Minor chipping around edges of base, nicely detailed with crisp text and light greenish color. Ex Orange County private collection. Est. Value $600 - $700.
