NER CAES AVG COS IIII IMP XIIII P P, laureate head left, lituus to left / DIVOS CLAVD GER FELIX around, PTOL upside down in exergue, C-O-L-C-C ST across field, Divus Claudius as founder plowing right with ox and cow; four vexilla behind. RPC 4749; Kadman 95; Rosenberger 46. Fine, black patina with green highlights. 

Commemorating Claudius' settlement of army veterans and establishment of a Roman colony at Ptolemais between A.D. 50/51.
