A Lovely Apulian Greek Decorated Skyphos. 4th Century BC, the body nicely painted with a detailed vine motif around a central rosette on one side, hanging garlands and rosettes or flowers on the opposite side, ovolo border around rim. Repaired from sherds, no restoration. A very handsome example with much eye appeal. 4 ¼” x 5 ¾” (10.8 x 14.6 cm). Ex Orange County private collection. Est. Value $900 - $1000.
