A Large and Choice Egyptian Faience Amulet of Horus. Late Period, c. 664 - 332 BC, wearing short striated kilt and tripartite headdress surmounted by the Double Crown of Upper and Lower Egypt, hands pendant at his sides, vertical plinth down back with hole for suspension. Very nicely detailed and a scarcer amulet type! H: 3 1/8” (7.8 cm). A nice example with light deposits. Ex New Jersey estate. Est. Value $600 - $700.
