Lambayeque Bottle from Peru, ca. 700 - 1300 AD. A choice Lambayeque (Sican) redware bottle from Peru, ca. 700 - 1300 AD. This lovely example is 7-3/4” high and is elaborately decorated with water symbols, as well as geometric and linear designs. The flared base is covered with the characteristic incised designs. Intact, good mineral deposits. Ex Gallatin estate. Value range: $500 - $700.
