M. Fannius C.f.. 123 B.C. AE quadrans (17.0 mm, 1.80 g, 5 h). Rome mint. Head of young Hercules right, wearing lion's skin headdress, three pellets behind / M·FAN C·F / ROMA, prow of galley right, three pellets to right. Crawford 275/3; Sydenham 420. F/VF. Extremely Rare.

Only a few examples of this type are known. At the time of Crawford's publication, he knew of only one example. Another was sold by NAC in 2011.
