Bactrian Cosmetic Container. A neat Bactrian bronze cosmetic container, Central Asia, c. 3rd – 2nd Millennium BC, standing on three legs which are in the form of shoes with a curled knob on the toe, the body of the vessel decorated with raised ridges, some with incised lines; two holes near the rim for attachment of the lid, H: 2 ½” (6.3 cm), intact, nice green patination and angled for easy use.
