Lot 6-412. Egyptian Wooden Seated Cat Relief.
A carved wooden relief of a seated cat, 3rd Intermediate - Late Period, c. 1075 - 343 BC, representing the goddess Bastet. Nicely carved with some minor losses, age cracks and deposits. The back is flat with two holes to fasten it to a larger item, one of the holes still containing the original dowel. H: 4 �� (10.8 cm).
