Constantinople mint. +EMMANOVHL, IC-XC, bust of Christ facing with nimbate cross behind head, square in each limb of nimbus cross, holding book of gospels / IS-XS BAS-ILE BAS-ILE, legend to left and right above and below cross, set upon three steps. SBV 1823; DOC 676. VF, double-struck reverse. Black patina with red highlights.
