Three Bowls from Mexico, ca. 100 - 650 AD. A trio of nice, intact bowls from Mexico. The group consists of an excellent Teotihuacan tripod dish, Late Xolalpan type, ca. 500 - 650 AD. It is 4-1/2 in diameter, has a scalloped interior, bulbous legs and heavy mineral deposits. Along with a Zapotec bowl, ca. 100 - 500 AD, 4 in diameter, decorated with boxed triangle designs and covered with mineral deposits and heavy root marks, as well as a Zapotec bowl, 4-1/4 in diameter, decorated with linear designs, covered with heavy mineral deposits in roots. Ex Beausset estate. Value range: $300 - $600.
