Caria, Antiochia ad Maeandrum. Gallienus. A.D. 253-268. AE 37 (36.5 mm, 21.15 g, 5 h). [AV KA ΠΟ ΓAΛΛIHNOC], radiate, helmeted, and cuirassed bust left, holding shield and spear / ANTIOXE-[ΩΝ], six-arched bridge with guard rails across the Maeander river; triple-bayed triumphal arch at one end; river god Maeandrus reclining left, holding reed and cornucopia, above guard rail. SNG von Aulock 8059; SNG Lewis 1638. Near Fine. Very Rare.

After the defeat of Valerian I by the Persians, Gallienus recaptured the bridge over the Maeander river, controling a major supply route to the eastern empire.
